Meet our Two Doctors
Dr. Darcy Clark Crook Dr. Darcy Clark Crook is a 1994 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Crook is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners, Business Professional Women, and Association of Shelter Veterinarians. Dr. Crook opened the practice in 1997 and has owned and operated the business. She enjoys serving the community and its variety of animals. Her primary areas of interest are dogs, cats, sheep, goats, llamas, and alpacas, but also enjoys seeing rabbits, ferrets, small rodents, horses cattle and swine. Dr. Crook shares her life with a menagerie of animals--2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 goats, 1 llama, 1 horse, and several chickens, ducks and pigeons. In her spare time, Dr Crook enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Dr. Crook and her husband Will celebrated the birth of their first child, a daughter Jalen Ruth Crook, born April 10, 2006. Dr. Jennifer Finnegan Dr. Jennifer Finnegan originally hails from Manhattan, Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas and received a degree in Organismal Biology. Dr. Finnegan began work in Reproductive Physiology at the Henry Doody Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska before pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. There she helped in the conservation of species such as Western Lowland Gorillas, Siberian Tigers, and Wild African Hoof Stock. Dr. Finnegan graduated from Kansas State University of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She began practicing general medicine on the south side in Indianapolis providing care and comfort to pets and their families. She was our relief Vet at New Ross Veterinary Services while Dr. Crook was on maternity leave and spent 2 years in emergency medicine. She is a member of the Veterinary Medical Association. Her primary interests are dogs, cats, and small pocket pets. Dr. Finnegan is an avid fiction reader, she also enjoys landscaping, traveling and biking. She shares her home with her Tortoieshell cat, October, Brisbane, a Pekinese puppy, and Sydney, a Pekinese. Dr. Finnegan's email is: drfinn@tds.net
